    • Q: What is the difference between regrouting and cleaning and sealing the grout?
    • A: Cleaning is the process of cleaning the grout with our machines, to ensure the absence of dirt and dust, therefore when we apply the sealer, the grout is clean and there are no barrier layers between the sealer and the grout. The sealer then will be applied, with the help of various Tile Cleaners $custom_city® tools, depending on the condition and setting of your tiles. Regrouting on the other hand is the process of replacing the grout between your tiles, with new grout. Tile Cleaners ® $custom_city use a mechanical tool to scrub out the old grout. After that is done, then we proceed with cleaning and then reapplying new grout between the tiles. These are two different processes and you might need to clean and seal after you are done with regrouting your tiles.
      • Q: What can I do to keep my sandstone tiles looking new?
      • A: To keep your sandstone tiles and grout looking new, Tile Cleaners $custom_city® recommend cleaning each week with a damp microfibre cloth and a mild detergent to remove any dirt or grime from the tiled surface. Any strong detergents (any strong acid or alkali) may affect the sealer, mild detergents and pH neutral substances are strongly recommended. Our best advice to protect your sandstone tiles is to seal them with one of our highest quality sealers. This is the best protection you sandstone tiles can have against staining, while also resulting in regular maintenance becoming easier.
